University of Maryland, College Park - BSL 3 Laboratory
Plano-Coudon served as the construction manager for this 1,800 SF certified level 3 biosafety laboratory. Project scope included specialized equipment and construction including a new HVAC system with a bag in bag out HEPA filtration unit, welded seam stainless steel ductwork with bubble tight dampers and differential pressure monitors to each room. Plano-Coudon also furnished and installed lab equipment including a sterilizer with Bioseal, Biosafety cabinets and circular rodent racks.
